Special Report: Brand New Website

Hello everyone,

It's been a while, these past couple months I've been busy started a new project, build an affiliate of ClickBank product, but the main objective is to implements my SEO knowledge and see the results, my target is on page 1 SERP's for some targeted keywords. This site is a brand new domain, using WordPress as the core. And here's the report:

1. It's began at 4th Oct 2011, look up for a product at ClickBank that have gravity around 100 that's means the product is have buyer and usually not too high on competition. Got a product then I did a keyword research for it. Tried to came up with long tail keywords to be my targets. Some people might to test the keywords using Google AdWord to see if the keywords will bring in traffic. Keywords research is important, there are even many tools out there on the market to do this keywords research thing. In short, I got a few long tail keywords to target, then moved to the next step.
2. I had a problem to get a domain with the product name as keywords included, so I just decided and came up with a phrase keyword as domain name with an extra letter at the end of the domain name. Well let's see how this gonna be.....:D Purchased the domain for 2 years, and get a low cost shared hosting package. Then set up a WordPress as the core with a few clicks feature, I decided to use a free clean seo optimized theme for the site, after that I did some basic setting, created some pages and installed some basic seo plugins, robots meta, pinger services, etc. Done it and moved to the next step.
3. Took me some time to writes 2 good "keywords optimized" articles as pre-sell contents since the site is an affiliate site, and I'm not good at this :D Of course outsourcing this writing job is an option too, but let's try to do this by myself for now. Finally the 2 pre-sell articles is done and online, did some modifications along the way based on some SEO optimize tools analysis.
4. Now is the time for Off-Page SEO works, since the domain is a brand new, at this point it's not even a month old, so I did the Off-Page SEO carefully, submitted a sitemap to search engines, RSS, etc. Then created 2 link magnet using web 2.0 properties manually, fill them with few articles each to make it looks natural, not just some door way blogs/sites. Then I blasted this link magnet blogs using automated tools like SenukeX, Scrapebox, AMR, etc. I still didn't touch the main site (money site) for blasts yet, just the link magnet sites/blogs to avoid being sandboxed or manual pinalty from "Big G". For the blasts with those tools, there's many options to do that, sign up for a VPS account that having all those SEO tools set up on it, or completely outsourcing the works on site like fiverr. The main reason is to automated the works.
5. After a month and half of domain aged, I still played with the link magnet sites/blogs, the main site already indexed by google but still long way to get on 1st page. At this point I started to "touch" the main site (money site) and get some edu/gov backlinks to inner pages manually, then increased the backlinks with High PR backlinks. After that I started outsourcing the works through fiverr guys, but the keywords is diversed to make it looks natural. I did the same with the link magnet sites/blogs, gave them some high quality backlinks, did them manually and using tools gradually in 2 weeks time frame.
6. Past 2 months, I posted 2 more articles on the main site (money site) and did the backlink works more aggressively but with more focused keywords, submitted an article to hundreds of article directories, included the major article directories, social bookmarking, converted and submitted an article to pdf and powerpoint slide sites, builded profiles backlinks from forum and angela style, and again I've done this all works gradually in 2 weeks time frame. At this point, today, the domain age is 2 months and half, the money site is on page 1 of google SERP's (both on 9th places) for 2 targeted keywords, page 2 for 3 others targeted keywords, and between page 3 to 10 of google SERP's for the product name and lots of other keywords related to the product/niche.

Next step is to get to top 5 and push other keywords to higher pages of SERP's. I will repeat all the process and gets more backlinks from more various domains for the main site and inner pages of it.
